Description:

To ensure the efficient and effective control of the Branch administrative systems and operational costs.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Demonstrate the ability to apply hygienic principles and procedures in the workplace
  • Demonstrate the basic principles of corporate etiquette
  • Independently initiate appropriate actions when and where needed without been directed to do so
  • Practice and demonstrate excellent Workplace Health and Safety at all times

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Matric
  • Minimum 24 – 36 months of proven experience in similar role
  • Computer Literacy
  • Drivers License will be advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clean corridors, stairways, ablution facilities, public common areas as well as Kitchenettes, boardrooms, and office space
  • Provide visiting Directors and Managers and Guests with Tea/ Coffee where required
  • Boardroom schedules are reviewed daily and boardrooms set up in advance for meetings
  • Responsible for maintaining boardroom stationery stock levels ie flip chart paper/ white board markers
  • Responsible for maintaining cleaning material stock levels ie dishwash liquid/detergents/cleaning equipment and materials
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate tea/coffee/sugar/milk stock levels
  • Responsible for the daily cleaning of crockery/ cutlery/ glassware
  • Responsible for the daily emptying of office waste paper baskets as well as Kitchenette rubbish bins
  • Responsible for the boardroom clean up after meetings, making sure all food waste is safely disposed of
  • To apply and ensure excellent Health and Safety and Environment practises at all times
  • Responsible for All General Office Duties
  • To assist with switchboard duties when required ie answering of switchboard
