Responsibilities:
ROLE
The Software Engineer is responsible for the porting/recoding/re-engineering/development of the graphical user interface EcFlow of the Atmosphere, Land, Ocean and Ice Weakly Coupled Data Assimilation System (WCDA). He/She will also support the monitoring and the management of the internal and external data repository and the models coupler development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Software Engineer will support the ESYDA division with the following tasks:
- Monitor the execution and quality performance of the WCDA.
- Maintain and Implement new features in D4O (Database for Observation), which is an Sql query language handling the observations flow in the data assimilation system since received from GTS and BUFR format.
Profile and eventually optimise the data assimilation system code.
