Description:
OVERVIEW:
We are currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a globally recognised brand. This role will provide hands-on IT support to users across the business, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Windows environments, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality technical support.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience in a 1st / 2nd line IT support role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and Active Directory
Familiarity with basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end users via phone, email, and in person
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently
Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems and associated applications
Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise systems
Troubleshoot and support Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
Set up and support desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Escalate complex technical issues to the 3rd line support or relevant teams when necessary
Maintain accurate documentation of technical processes, solutions, and user requests
Assist with IT projects, rollouts, and upgrades as required
