JOB DESCRIPTION

Ember Recruitment are working with an established and expanding business based in Leicester. My client are looking for two Java Developers (Junior and Mid level), to work as part of their growing development team. The role involves developing large scale applications with an emphasis on performance and efficiency. This role is remote with a day or two in their Leicester office per year (team building event and company get together).
For the Junior role, IT graduates are welcomed to apply.
This position requires more than just writing code. The successful candidates will need to discuss solutions, present and critically evaluate solutions you propose and share your skills with the technical department to further your own personal development as well as your peers.

Education:

• Bachelor’s (preferred

• Responsible for maintaining and evolving different products
• Contributing to key design decisions in collaboration with the Product Owners
• Designing and developing the platform according to specification
• Driving innovation with new and interesting ideas for the products, services and processes
  Applicants should be looking to work with Java programming in a commercial environment encompassing Java EE and Oracle / SQL Server.
  In addition to your technical knowledge and experience you will need to be self-motivated, quick-thinking, adaptable and able to rapidly translate ideas into working software.
