We have an exciting opportunity for multiple Engineering students to join our growing team as part of our Internship Program. If you are seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity with a diversified and innovative team then a CANA internship may be for you. As an Engineering Intern you will apply your knowledge and develop new skills while working on CANA’s unique projects. From day one CANA’s interns are exposed to all aspects of commercial construction that will enable you to attain a well-rounded knowledge base. There are boundless opportunities available for development during your internship as well as your professional development. CANA has a strong commitment to offering full time positions to interns upon graduating, with over half of our Engineers in the Construction team having previously completed their internship with us.

As a CANA Engineering Intern you will have the opportunity to develop skills in:

• Project/Construction management;
• Estimating;
• Budget preparation and job cost control;
• Scheduling and risk management;
• Safety management;
• Quality control management;
• Business development and client/consultant/subcontractor relations.

Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:

• Will have completed their 3rd year of Engineering;
• Willing to accept a 12 or 16 month internship;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills;
• Strong computer skills.
