2024 Ski Swap Volunteer (Multiple Dates Available)

The Brimacombe team is currently seeking volunteers to help with our annual Blowout Sale and Ski/Board Swap on Sunday, October 6 at Brimacombe (4098 Durham Road 9, Orono, ON L0B 1M0), as well as some of the equipment drop off days leading up to the swap.
On your application you will be asked to indicate which day(s)/time(s) you are interested in helping. Individuals may volunteer for as few as one shift or as many as all of them. Shift times can vary depending on availability/interest.
We are seeking volunteers for the one or more of the following days and time periods:

Ski & Board Swap

• October 6, 2024 between 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Drop Off Days

• October 3, 2024 between 1:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Equipment Drop Off Day)
• October 4, 2024 between 1:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Equipment Drop Off Day)
• October 5, 2024 between 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Equipment Drop Off Day)

Volunteers at the Ski Swap will help with variety of tasks such as greeting guests, stocking/restocking, managing lines, helping carry out equipment, answering questions, helping fit boots, poles, and other ski and snowboard equipment.
Volunteers during the equipment drop off periods will assist with greeting guests, carrying equipment, tying boots, organizing products and more.
High School Students may be eligible to claim community involvement hours (students are strongly encouraged to verify with their school that the activity will count towards completion of their 40 hours).
