Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Conducting land surveys: Using specialised equipment to measure and map land, including boundaries, topography, and features.
  • Collecting data: Gathering and recording data related to land and property boundaries, elevation, and geographical features.
  • Analysing data: Processing and analysing survey data to create accurate maps, charts, and reports.
  • Creating and updating maps: Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and update maps and survey drawings.
  • Establishing control points: Setting up and maintaining control points to ensure accuracy and consistency in surveys.
  • Conducting fieldwork: Going on-site to collect data and measurements using surveying instruments and tools.
  • Providing expertise: Offering technical expertise and advice on surveying methods, equipment, and regulations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders: Working closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to provide accurate survey data for projects.
  • Ensuring compliance: Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols during surveying activities.
  • Maintaining equipment: Calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting surveying instruments and equipment.
