K&L Gates is currently accepting applications for a 2025 first-year associate position in the firm’s Harrisburg office. Applicants are expected to graduate from law school and take the Pennsylvania bar exam prior to joining the firm.
Candidates must have a strong interest in energy and environmental law. They must also be a self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, candidates must have superior academic credentials - top 15% and Law Review/Moot Court experience preferred and excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as a commitment to providing the highest quality client service. Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring.

Base Compensation $180,000 / year
The base compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
