Building on our established relationships with key clients in Northern Ireland such as Translink, and working on projects large and small, locally and across the UK and Ireland, you’ll be involved in exciting projects that make a difference in our communities, such as decarbonising our railways, enabling active travel, and preserving historic structures. We have opportunties in a number of teams within our built environment and energy sectors.
Our multidisciplinary teams design infrastructure which help to support the essential requirements of everyday life. You’ll play a big part in designing structures which improve local communities within a variety of sectors.
We have opportunities in our Cork, Dublin and Belfast offices.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months relevant experience (excluding placements), and have a bachelor’s degree (level 8), as a minimum, or are expected to achieve one in one of the following degree disciplines:
- Structural Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- General Engineering specialising in civils or structures
In your application you should be able to demonstrate your interest in the role and working at Mott MacDonald through relevant experience, such as studying relevant modules, or previous work experience.
We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:
- Methodical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
