About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain electro-mechanical products, systems, and processes to support new and existing simulation training devices.
• Design new component parts, assemblies, and production drawings using 3D CAD software.
• Alter and/or modify existing designs to achieve specified functional and operational performance.
• Review and evaluate existing mechanical design drawings and specifications.
• Research and analyze data, such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design modifications or new system applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Solid modeling, Mechanical Drawings, Common fabrication and assembly processes, Structural design fundamentals, Fastening and joining and Engineering lab safety
• Experience working with CAD software
• This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
