This position requires a commitment from mid-February 2025 to mid-December 2025.
Established in 1946, Markham College is a bilingual Peruvian international school with a British Heritage. We are a non-profit, co-ed day school for children from 3-18 years of age. Our vision is to empower everyone to be agents of positive change in Peru and beyond. Aligned with our IBDP and IGCSE curriculum in Secondary, we are adopting the PYP curriculum for our Primary students. In Early Years we follow the British National Curriculum. All of our programs are underpinned by our values: respect for self, respect for others and respect for the world around us.
Markham is a regional leader in education. Our forward-thinking and self-improving approach is embedded into our newest state-of-the-art Primary educational facility, inaugurated in 2024. It reflects the school’s move away from the traditional four-wall classroom, by providing flexible learning spaces that encourage independent learning and develop new ways of collaborating across groups and disciplines in our ‘Learning Communities’.
To apply please make a profile on the school’s system (https://jobs.markham.edu.pe) and upload a cover letter and CV of no more than two pages by Sunday October 6, 2024. Please indicate in your cover letter if you have a preference for Early Years or Primary.
Markham College is an Equal opportunity employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. We select staff that understand and share this commitment. All applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and obtaining a Police Certificate or Good Conduct Certificate from the country where the applicant last resided or was employed, which may include Disclosure & Barring checks.
