Responsibilities:

  • Attending pre-job meetings at the start of shift and follow site procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Report any concerns to the supervisor and seek clarification regarding any questions.
  • Identifying equipment in the field.
  • Identifying equipment on engineering drawings.
  • Producing equipment tags and applying them in the field.
  • Performing independent research.
  • Engaging with site staff to build knowledge based on independent research.
  • Performing problem-solving, producing a report and presenting to both trade and management levels.
  • Understanding types of site instrumentation, their function, and calibration methods.
  • Gathering information on site equipment programs.
  • Making recommendations on changes to calibration program effectiveness.
