Description:
SECURITAS SECURITY SERVICES IRELAND ARE SEEKING EXPERIENCED SECURITY PERSONNEL TO WORK WITH A PRESTIGIOUS CLIENT. HOURLY RATE OF PAY FOR THIS POSITION IS €23.90 PH*
Composite Pay rate €23.90 (€21.34 basic) per hour based on an annual attainable salary of €52.340 which includes all night allowances, Sunday allowances and public holiday payments based on a fully flexible contract divided by 36 hours a week by 52 weeks a year
Hourly Base rate of €21.34 per hour
SUMMARY
Maintains security and safety of people and property in assigned area. Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site. Promoting life safety, protecting staff, assets, and property by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Be prepared to escalate problematic situations immediately by following policies and procedures as laid out by client.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Life safety duties -emergency- priority 1
- Implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the facility.
- Access control management for the facility.
- Facility Patrol - internal building and roof.
- Tailgating response.
- Visitor & vehicle management.
- Goods released management.
- Monitoring of security systems.
- Report writing, incident reporting and auditing support duties.
- Security support to all general activities at the facility.
- Perimeter and outbuildings patrol.
- Hostile surveillance detection.
- Asset delivery escorting.
- Internal building staff escorting.
- Use of site-specific specialist equipment.
- Coordination and support to emergency services / drills
Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):
- Must be prepared to upskill and train as required.
- Ability to operate MS office products such as word, excel and outlook etc. ECDL desirable.
- Knowledge of security operations, procedures and best industry practices.
- Skill in people supervision, including assigning instructions and the management of persons in your operational area.
- Capable of learning a variety of security and safety devices and controls.
- Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.
- Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
- Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
- Ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
- Ability to take initiative and achieve results. Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
