OPPORTUNITY:
Our trusted partner, a highly reputable cloud solutions provider is hiring a 2nd/3rd line support engineer who strives from a Microsoft background to join a large team. This role is a direct route into the more senior infrastructure team for my client.
This is an opportunity where you will gain exposure to Networking, Server and Cloud related technologies assisting our clients technical issues. The client is seeking someone who has experience working in a 2nd to 3rd line position, work to be based in Sittingbourne on a hybrid basis.
You will be a good communicator, technical proficient and be able to provide strategic guidance to clients with regard to technology and IT infrastructures and will enable major business process to change through enhancements to clients IT. You may also be called upon to provide guidance and technical expertise during design, selection, implementation, as well as technology selection.
Responsibilities:
Engaging with clients to determine their technology requirements
Working with clients to deliver projects to a defined scope, quality, cost and timescale for outcome success.
Clarifying client system specifications, understanding working practices and the nature of the customers’ business.
Working at customer sites, liaising with staff at all levels within their organisation – good stakeholder management is therefore a pre-requisite.
Developing new technologies and then implementing these.
Presenting solutions in clear and consistent written or oral reports using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Designing, testing, installing and monitoring systems during the Project phase
Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers following implementation.
