Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsibilities: Able to resolve and repair any equipment in the plant. Must perform general mechanical and electrical functions. Troubleshooting and resolve complicated equipment. Responsible for working on Programmable logical controls. Responsible for calibrating manufacturing equipment to standards

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or work experience in PLC/HMI programming highly preferred
  • Previous experience in Industrial Electrical
  • Proficient in trouble shooting
  • Measurement tools and instruments
  • Interpreting schematics and pneumatics
  • Proficient in verbal/written communication

Responsibilities:

(i.e. Policies, procedures, etc. for which you are responsible)

  • Troubleshoot and solves all PLC/HMI/Motion problems. This includes replacing parts and programming. Verify machine functions as before. AB, B&R, Beckoff, Aveva, ABB, Etc.
  • Troubleshoot and solves VFD/Motion Drives
  • Attentively listen to radio calls and assist general maintenance to troubleshoot anything electrical/PLC related during production
  • Ability to use precision instruments and hand tools
  • Availability after hours for assistance to remote in if possible or come in to solve issues.
  • Ability to follow applicable safety and environment requirements
  • Familiar with all things networking both in OT and IT. Domain, TCP/IP, Ethernet I/P, Layer 3 Switches, etc.
  • Stay up to date on product lifecycles to ensure less downtime.
  • Understand lock-out/tag out procedures
  • Ability to adjust equipment as needed to reach targeted production demands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must have excellent organizational skills

  • Demonstrate leadership, self-motivation, non-directed work, asset in training level
