Job Description

TE WHIWHINGA MAHI | THE OPPORTUNITY

The Department is looking for two new colleagues at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level. We are particularly seeking candidates with a strong aptitude/flair for Operations and Supply Chain Management and potentially also Business Analytics as you will be involved in research, teaching, and service within these disciplinary areas.
Both the Lecturer and Senior Lecturer positions require teaching experience and a proven track record of quality research. The Senior Lecturer position requires evidence of publication in high quality and/or elite operations journals. There is a preference for individuals who can interact with, and are interested in getting involved with, the Centre for Supply Chain Management. While all methodological areas within operations and analytics will be considered, an interest in and ability to publish in high quality operations and analytics journals is a key requirement for the position. Expertise in empirical research, which will help teach Business Analytics courses, or in Procurement or Service Operations would be particularly welcome. We are looking for experienced teachers with proven abilities to use various teaching methods such as student-centered learning and mixed learning methods.
