Description:
Ox FleetCare, is looking for an experienced 310T mechanic or 3rd level apprentice to assist with the upkeep and repair of our fleet. We perform general maintenance and repairs on autos, light and heavy-duty trucks, Tanker trailers, Vac trailers, Hydro Vacs, SE’s, and other specialty equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Truck and Coach Technician 310T certification in good standing, or level 3 experienced Apprentice
- Hydrovac or hydraulic experience preferred
- Experience with Cummin’s or Detroit is an asset.
- Strong product and technical knowledge.
- Ability to utilize and learn new technology, computer literate – internet, diagnostic programs/computers, etc.
- Valid driver’s license – clean abstract
- Flexible to work schedule and extended hours as required.

Responsibilities:
- Working in our main shop; service call work as required.
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics, testing and repair of our fleet: Western Star, Peterbilt, Kenworth and other units as required.
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of Hydrovac electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and vacuum systems.
- Preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of Vac trucks, heavy equipment, and farm equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, training documents and complete repair procedures in accordance with Ministry of Transportation repair requirements and OEM repair procedures.
- Accurately entering and updating information in the maintenance software through supplied laptop.
- Communicating effectively with co-workers and foremen to ensure minimal downtime of units.
- Communicating with service advisor and/or dispatch if additional work is needed.
- Other duties as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
