Responsibilities:
You are a 3D designer/artist with a focus on indoor and outdoor maps. You are highly autonomous and enjoy carving your own path. You are proficient with Modern 3D and 2D design tools like Blender and Figma to visualize and design beautiful interactive maps.
As a part of the engineering team and reporting to the VP, Product Engineering, you are responsible for the following:
- Make our maps more beautiful, usable, and accessible
- Create concepts of what the future of indoor maps looks like
- Contribute to design scoping and estimation efforts with development team
- Help the SDK development team ideate, prototype and plan future capability of our map rendering engine
- Implement findings from feedback and testing by rapid iteration of designs
- Present design work with solid rationale and manage stakeholder feedback
- Lead and facilitate design and ideation workshops to build a shared experience vision
- Understand and empathize with end users, clients and team members
