Gear up for more of the animated Sesame Street spin-off Mecha Builders! Cookie Monster, Elmo and Abby Cadabby are robot heroes-in-training who use their STEM superpowers to solve wacky larger-than-life problems!
Help us bring this show to life as our new 3D Lighting Artist!

Responsibilities:

  • Use existing light rigs to generate a set volume of shots per week
  • May need to light sets from scratch using clean and efficient light setups
  • Work directly with the compositing team to reach the desired look
  • Occasionally work with the technical staff to solve rendering / lighting scene issues
  • Communicate directly with the Lighting Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 yrs as an experienced Lighting Artist in animated television and/or film
  • Proficient in shot based lighting
  • Strong understanding of what is capable in compositing to reach the intended look
  • Knowledge of shaders, and their impact on render times
  • A solid portfolio highlighting composition and artistic skills
  • A strong portfolio that shows the ability to generate well lit and balanced imagery
  • Compositing experience is a major asset
