Description:
The Global Citizen Academy is seeking an experienced individual proficient in 3D Printing program for elementary to high school students. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background and a comprehensive understanding of formats such TinkerCAD
The selected trainer will conduct lessons utilizing materials provided by The Global Citizen Education Group. This role is based in Singapore, and trainers will be required to travel for on-site training programs. Engagement and remuneration will be on a per-program basis.
Trainers will work as freelancers and must be residents of Singapore, preferably holding certification as an MOE-IRS (Ministry of Education-Instructor Registration System) certified instructor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- MOE-IRS certified instructor (Preferred)
- Preferred 2 years of relevant teaching/mentorship experience in the field of 3D printing for Primary/Secondary/Pre-tertiary schools.
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Strong communication skills
- Professional and able to work independently.
- Passionate about teaching
- Robust background and comprehensive understanding of formats such as TinkerCAD. The ideal candidate should be adept at using these software to teach curriculum content.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging training sessions for students based on the curriculum developed by TGCEG.
- Provide feedback on students’ performance and behavior periodically.
- Execute classroom management for small group lessons.
- Tailor teaching methods and content to accommodate the diverse learning needs and interests of students.
