Description:
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a 3PL & Finished Goods Distribution Coordinator to support the daily operations of our main 3PL distribution center in Australia. This role involves coordinating distribution across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the 3PL operation to maximise efficiency and meet ANZ distribution targets while exceeding customer expectations.
- Regularly review 3PL KPI reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans.
- Investigate and address customer complaints, ensuring effective control measures.
- Maintain delivery capability for 3PL, aiming for >90% on-time performance.
- Coordinate logistics actions related to Ihart Slob.
- Process finished goods cycle counts in SAP.
- Conduct regular HSE and quality audits on 3PL and transport providers.
- Foster excellent customer service through effective communication with 3PL, customer service teams, and commercial colleagues.
- Lead monthly continuous improvement meetings with customer service and 3PL teams.
- Monitor transport costs and adherence to rate cards.
- Track transport provider KPIs, including DIFOT, complaint follow-up, and claims/compensation.
- Collaborate with supply planning to optimize truck loads from 3PL and manufacturing facilities.
- Maximise container utilization for exports to New Zealand across all business units.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for export queries and coordination.
- Ensure SAP fluency for customer service, logistics, and planning/supply requirements.
- Identify and execute logistics-related cost-saving and continuous improvement projects.
- Cultivate strong relationships with sales staff and internal/external stakeholders.
- Become familiar with AkzoNobel processes in procurement, IT support, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
