WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
- Counterbalance Hoist and Reach Hoist Licensing (F endorsement) required.
- Warehousing / Supply Chain experience essential (5+ years’ experience), including ERP / WMS
- Transactional proficiency and accuracy are preferred.
- Awareness of potential risks and hazards and operate in a safe manner.
- Outstanding communication skills in all formats, including the ability to make the complex and complicated, simple, and understandable.
- Proven partnering and stakeholder management capabilities and experience.
- Able to build rapport and constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As the Logistics Specialist, you’ll be responsible for performing warehousing and logistics functions, critical to ensuring that our Supply Chain accurately and effectively enables our Distribution, Services and Deployment teams to meet delivery and deployment schedules in full and on time.
WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Loading and unloading of trucks, containers, and courier vans in accordance with instructions relating to the delivery or collection
- Follow all compliance in accordance with MPI guidelines and requirements.
- Accurate recording and labelling of inbound or outbound transactions including consolidation.
- Re-palletization, put-away, pick, pack, and dispatch on multiple systems.
- Inventory management including maintaining a tidy and clean site, regular and accurate stock counting and recording on multiple systems.
- Investigating and reporting on inventory stock control.
- Operating materials handling machinery according to company Policy, Procedures and Guidelines, and ensuring a safe and healthy operational environment.
