Responsibilities:
- Working with colleagues and with the Lead NOC analyst, to develop usage of RMM platform
- To monitor and act upon server and network alerts from our alert monitoring system and to carry out pro-active enhancements to alerting monitoring to ensure minimal downtime for clients
- Reacting to any alerts generated by the RMM platform, escalating to the correct teams where required
- Adherence to the permanent fix process, by ensure alerts are followed up with a service request to remove or reduce repeat/temporary/workaround fixes where possible
- Ensure systems are patched, backed up and protected with agreed AV solutions, providing necessary information to Service Desk to allow efficient and effective management of Workstations and AD user accounts
- To maintain all knowledge base related articles covering (but not limited to); infrastructure overview (inc. networking), backup systems, storage management etc
- To provide and update detailed documentation for each client in a centralised location for sharing with other support staff
- Provide a point of technical escalation to the ServiceDesk team where required and team at capacity
- Provide an excellent level of customer service to internal and external customer
