5 Axis CNC Programmer/Operator

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a CNC 5-Axis Laser Programmer and Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong understanding of mechanical processes and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a CNC Laser Programmer, preferably in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of metal materials, tools, and machining techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and machine maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

· High school Diploma
· Mechanical Engineering certificate (or equivalent)
· Forklift License

· Set up, program, and operate 5-axis laser cutting machine (preferably Komatsu) to produce metal components as per specifications.
· Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and production requirements.
· Safely load & unload material from laser table.
· Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality and design specifications.
· Select appropriate tools, materials, and cutting parameters for each job.
· Conduct routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
· Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
