Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short and long distances while operating a commercial vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Transport and deliver goods to various locations
- Load and unload cargo
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and coworkers
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Maintain truck cleanliness and ensure maintenance tasks are performed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or relevant position
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Capable of heavy lifting and moving cargo
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial
