- Ensuring that the documentation of the requirements is in a layout and format that can be easily shared and understood by stakeholders.
- Making sure that the requirements map to the business need being addressed, they are approved by all the appropriate stakeholders, and that they meet the relevant quality standards, including all financial controls.
- Determine operating characteristics and requirements; conduct “walkthroughs” for proposed solutions to the business problems
- Determine and assess solution options, working with delivery partners as required
- Map processes to technology
- Liaise with Pret teams and technology delivery partners during the systems development life cycle.
- Coordinate user training in new capabilities and provide support as required on newly implemented systems through the early life support period.
- Set strategy for system design and operational improvements as required.
Skills and experience
- An ability to excel and get the best out of your team members, through a strong hands-on approach and performance management.
- Critical problem solver who can investigate and understand sophisticated business problems, articulating clear activities which result in desired solutions.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent understanding of retail systems and business analysis, business process mapping and engineering, coupled with significant relevant domain experience.
