YOU SHOULD APPLY IF YOU HAVE:

  • Strong working experience in Fund Administration, with management experience
  • Strong understanding of Luxembourg Fund regulation and especially with UCITS requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting for securities and derivatives including NAV oversight
  • Good understanding of fund structure: pooling/multi-class/feeder
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, while maintaining close attention to detail;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; other European languages would be a definite advantage.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Fund Administration Manager is responsible for managing a team of Assistant Managers, Supervisors and accountants as well as teams in the HSBC Service Centers in Colombo and Kolkata in charge of various up streams processes in the NAV production.
The Fund Administration Manager is responsible for the daily oversight of NAV Valuations and reporting tasks, the quality and timely response of client and third parties queries, maintain and improve the client service delivery standards.
As part of the A&V Traditional team, the Manager will continuously strive to enforce and enhance our control environment with the aim of mitigating and controlling our risks, will also participate in the production and presentation of the internal reporting for our control and oversight committees.
The Manager will be an escalation point of contact for clients in regards to all Fund Accounting related queries and ensure the highest level of service is provided for the clients assigned. The Manager will ensure the identification and prompt reporting of potential gaps and risks that may affect the Group, the clients and the Bank.
As part of the A&V team the Manager will collaborate with other teams within Service Delivery as well as other functions within the bank to provide the best possible service to our clients. This collaboration will include the participation to internal and external client meetings, provision of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other forms of reporting.
