NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for an SAP ABAP Lead/Architect to work remotely with our global client.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a highly experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, responsible for leading technical design, development, and implementation. Act as a technical lead and collaborate closely with the functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications while ensuring high quality code and efficient system performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 10 years of SAP programming and consultancy experience.
• Must have at least 7 years of working on SAP implementations.
• At least 5 years of involvement with a full cycle implementation in large organizations and at least one (1) end to end S/4 HANA implementations.
• Experience with SAP ABAP development tools like ADT
• Knowledge of Fiori development and UI technologies
• Understanding of SAP Workflow and Business Rules
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and integration technologies
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Capacity to comprehend business forms from a client’s point of view.
• Capacity to work in a group domain, viably cooperating with others.
• Must be results-oriented.
• Experience in developing test, cutover and post go-live plans for the modules of competence (strategy, plan, requirements, KPIs, etc).
• Experience with globally distributed teams.
• Must have strong analytical skills, be team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, and producing high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in Automotive or Manufacturing companies is an asset.

• Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and optimizing ABAP programs, managing technical aspects of projects, and providing expert consultation on ABAP best practices.
• Leading technical design sessions, defining architecture for complex ABAP solutions, and overseeing development activities on projects.
• Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in existing ABAP code to optimize system efficiency.
• Integrating ABAP solutions with other SAP modules and external systems using various interfaces.
• Collaborating with functional consultants to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for developed ABAP programs and solutions.
