Our students absolutely love The Music Box, our custom built six-storey creative hub in Central London featuring recording studios and a fully licensed entertainment venue as well as classrooms, performance and practice rooms, Mac labs, piano rooms and soundproofed practice booths.

Our graduates are musicians, songwriters and producers working with the likes of George Ezra, Jalen Ngonda, & Jordan Rakei; artists in their own right such as Tom Walker, Annatoria, Joy Anonymous or Rhys Lewis and rising executives at leading music companies like Warner, Universal, Sony and Live Nation.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within an educational institution
Experience in curriculum development, quality assurance, and staff development
Significant experience in teaching within the arts and humanities
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative teaching and learning approaches
A minimum of a postgraduate award in a relevant field (e.g., music education, higher education, curriculum development).
Proven initiative and strategic vision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and project management skills
Proficiency in using learning management systems, educational software, and other learning technologies
A team player with a collaborative approach to work, able to foster positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

SUMMARY OF ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Academic Dean. You will lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of teaching and learning across the college’s programmes, ensuring high standards of academic quality which prepares our talented students for meaningful and sustainable careers in music and entertainment. Success in this role will be measured by us meeting and consistently exceeding sector benchmarks in engagement, retention, student satisfaction and progression into high skilled employment in the music industry.
