Description:

The Academic Development Coordinator is a member of the Faculty Teaching and Learning Team and is responsible for the line management of the Academic Development Assistant. The role involves coordinating and administering the Faculty Academic Development Programme for all staff, including those academic staff who are required to complete the programmes as part of academic probation. This involves the line management of the Academic Development (AD) administrative assistant and ensuring processes are streamlined to meet the required deadlines. A crucial aspect of the role is to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the Faculty including academic staff, professional services, internal and external trainers and facilitators. The Academic Development coordinator is required to engage in cross-Faculty and cross-University committees and projects for the wider benefit of the Faculty and University core training programmes.
The Academic Development Coordinator reports directly to the Faculty Student Service, Support and Development Manager. The Faculty Teaching and Learning Office supports hybrid working.
