GRADE 8, £56,921 - £65,814 PER ANNUM (PRO RATA)

The School of Innovation & Technology at The Glasgow School of Art seeks an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated Academic Lead (Undergraduate Digital Design Programmes) to lead our growing portfolio of undergraduate programmes in digital design and creativity – currently including awards and pathways in Sound for the Moving Image, 3D Modelling, Immersive Systems and Games & Virtual Reality.
The role will enhance the School’s commitment to:
1) our expanding undergraduate portfolio in digital creativity
2) new academic study options at all curricular levels
3) a people and planet approach to digital creativity and emerging technologies,
4) aligning teaching and research to produce social, economic and cultural impact
The successful candidate will provide leadership to an academic team, management of student learning experience and collegiate input into the intellectual development of the School of Innovation and Technology, based on one of our Glasgow campuses.
The ideal applicant will have a passion for learning and a creativity, strong personal commitment to academic endeavour with research/teaching/practice profile in the area of digital games, interactive storytelling or related area of learning.
