Description:

Job Title: Academic Quality Assistant
Department: Academic Centre of Excellence
Location: College Drive Campus
Status: Regular Part-Time
Hours Per Week: Up to 24 hours
Pay Rate: $23.42/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two year College Diploma in a relevant field
  • Minimum six (6) months experience working in a professional office environment
  • Knowledge of data analytics and quality assurance processes preferred
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer and office technology; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) required
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the College Drive Campus in North Bay, ON

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, collate and maintain relevant academic files
  • Assist in compiling and preparing academic data for quality assurance reports, meetings and presentations
  • Assist in the development of survey tools for the acquisition of survey data
  • Organize tracking files for all relevant academic data and quality process action items
  • Support AEQM processes through various document developments such as spreadsheets, reports, databases, forms, and word-based documents
  • Support the collection, organization and delivery of Academic Progression and Exam Boards including partner delivery
  • Support institutional assessment of quality assurance processes
  • Schedule meetings, take minutes and track meeting action items
  • Attend regular meetings and communicate with college stakeholders
  • Provide general office support
  • Other duties as assigned
