ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum two years in an academic environment
- Experience using academic course scheduling software such as CLASS, Fusion and Infosilem
- Experience in supporting faculty and working in a student service environment
- Strong sense of professionalism and a high level of customer service delivery is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Demonstrate tact, discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters
- Demonstrated decision-making skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong computer skills and aptitude in word processing, spreadsheets, database management and website maintenance
- Strong research and analytical skills, ability to understand and apply information, regulation and guidelines

Responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Collecting and organizing course and/or room requirements for scheduling
- Troubleshooting timetabling and/or room booking conflicts
- Maintaining course information on student information systems
- Preparing and disseminating examination timetables
- Determining logistical details required for alternative arrangements to accommodate exam conflicts for students
- Acting as the first point of contact for KPE undergraduate and graduate instructors for their administrative and logistical needs
- Keeping well-informed on University programs, policies and procedures
- Liaising with academic units and stakeholders to support academic calendar production initiatives
