Faculty 07: History and Cultural Studies / Department of Ancient Studies of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching in the subject of Classical Archaeology to the extent of 2 SWS
  • Academic collaboration in research in accordance with the orientation of the department for Classical Archaeology
  • Presentation of own research results at conferences and workshops
  • Independent fundraising / participation in calls for the further development of teaching/teaching formats
  • Organization and coordination of the study programs, including:
  • Coordinating the provision of courses and examinations as well as preparing and arranging the semester program, if required in coordination with external cooperation partners
  • Quality assurance of the study program, its further development and adaptation, organisation of the reaccreditation process
  • Advising (international) students and lecturers, in particular on the organization of studies, events and examinations
  • Administration of the study program in CampusNet in collaboration with the Course Manager
