  • A degree qualification in nursing or a related discipline
  • Nurse Practitioner with current NZ Practicing Certificate and three plus years experience full-time clinical experience as a nurse practitioner
  • Current industry/discipline knowledge
  • Clinical and educational qualifications and skills that support teaching of nursing and advanced practice nursing
  • Vision, innovation and a commitment to facilitating own and others’ learning
  • Digital literacy including - competence using a computer and experience with online learning modalities

Responsibilities:

You will work with a team of staff who are experienced Nurse Educators. Staff members are expected to work in the Nurse Prescribing and Nurse Practitioner pathway. This role requires a passion for nursing and nursing education, has an excellent reputation as a professional, and can contribute to undergraduate and/or postgraduate education and research. Participating in research projects is an expectation, with a level of involvement in research negotiated as part of the role.
