Description:

Access Control & Data Installation Engineer - £39,000 - £44,000 p/a + Overtime!
Our client, a leading UK-wide organisation, are looking for a Mobile Technicians to join their installations team. Working independently and throughout the UK, you will be responsible for supporting their customers with door access control equipment and Data services at retail and commercial sites.
This role will also include other installation work for the company, including but not limited to the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in installing and maintaining door access control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic security systems, including key card access, bio metric systems, and intercom systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with Verkada security systems is an advantage
    The salary is £39,000 - £44,000 per annum dependant on experience plus opportunities for overtime!

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, configure, and maintain door access control systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control systems, including hardware malfunctions and software errors.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the use of access control systems.
  • Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
