Galway Plant and Tool Hire (GPT) is a one of Ireland’s largest and most successful plant and commercial vehicle hire specialists. We have 8 branches nationwide, serving the needs of both public and private sector customers.
GPT is part of The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. We currently have a position based in our Galway depot as an Access Plant Fitter.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE:

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of plant and access equipment.
• Carrying out services, inspection at our site in Galway and on customers sites across the region.
• Diagnosing specific fault issues and actioning appropriately.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
• The ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication skills
