Our Global Product Strategy (GPS) team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by driving the strategic direction of our innovative product portfolio. As a member of the GPS team, you will be at the forefront of transforming groundbreaking scientific discoveries into accessible and impactful healthcare solutions for patients worldwide. You are an inspiring and strategic Global Access Chapter Lead, who leads our experienced team of Access Strategy Leaders in early articulation and integration of the Access relevant elements of successful commercialisation of our innovative portfolio and pipeline. You will foster a culture of high-performance, empowerment, and accountability to ensure this team delivers high quality access strategies on disease area and asset level and demonstrates an enterprise mindset. Your leadership will ensure seamless alignment and collaboration across Global Access chapters and with Therapeutic Areas, Pharma Development, Medical, US commercial, and Pharma International (PI), to ensure the successful delivery of our pharma ambition and One Pharma Strategy. .
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Global Access Strategy Leaders (ASLs), fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, collaboration and empowerment. Coach and develop team members, ensuring enterprise leadership behaviors and supporting the development of industry-leading capabilities.
- Collaborate across the organization to ensure the early integration of access strategy aspects into commercialisation strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of unified access MTOs for disease areas and assets, and work closely with your peers in Global Access, the Therapeutic Areas, Portfolio Strategy, and US and PI to ensure collective efforts of ASL`s are fully aligned with the One Pharma Strategy.
- Ensure the ASLs contribute a strong and aligned (cross-chapter) access voice to support robust decision-making along the full value chain including building on the collective expertise in Global Access to ensure the right level of insights and expertise is available to inform access and commercialization strategies.
- Work closely with Chapter Leads in Global Access and other relevant functions in GPS to ensure the most effective resource allocation to ensure delivery on portfolio priorities and ambition.
Who You Are
- 10 or more years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry with increasing levels of leadership and people management with significant experience and shown effectiveness leading diverse teams. Multidisciplinary experience working in a variety of functions within and beyond Access is an advantage. Master`s degree in Life Science and/or Business administration preferred.
- Outstanding understanding of the drug development and commercialization process, as well as an excellent understanding of the current and future external trends influencing the successful commercialization of our innovative therapies across a variety of markets.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to influence at all levels and manage expectations of various internal and external stakeholders. Enterprise-thinking, strategically beyond the immediate future and well versed in relationship-building in a multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize, explain and present analytics and data as well as complex solutions to problem statements to Senior Management and a proven track record in driving successful and sustainable change that led to improved business performance.
- Ideally already established strong relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrated ability to manage critical conversations and drive collaboration in a decentralized and agile matrix organization.
- Demonstrated the ability to bring the agile ways of working, empowered decision making and creative mindset to life and possess excellent strategic agility and management and coaching skills.
