Description:
Established in 1975. Bridgend Accident Repair Centre are one of the longest established independent accident repair centres in the West of Scotland.
A family run business that is large enough to cope with ever changing business and industry changes yet remaining small enough to care.
Due to maternity cover (minimum 1 year, potentially permanent for right candidate) we are looking for a receptionist.
(42hrs per week 8am-5pm Mon to Thurs and 8am - 4.30pm Friday).
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to multitask in a busy environment
- To have the ability to keep up to date with technical information, good problem-solving skills
- Strong with administration, diary management and following up within agreed time frames
- Ability to develop rapport and trust with customers and to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably
- Have a passion for customer service, have a process orientated approach, be professional and well presented
EXPERIENCE:
Proven previous knowledge and experience of working in a similar role.
Potential to become a permanent role.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £22,880.00-£27,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
- Provide a courteous, welcoming, and efficient front of house Bodyshop reception service
- Deal with incoming enquiries, admin and phone calls and make customer bookings
- Process the estimates using inhouse systems
- Negotiate repair approvals with insurance engineers
· Collating and providing data when requested such as a particular insurance companies vehicles on site and what stage they are at
- Provide regular communication to customers keeping them informed of repair progress, additional work needed or vehicle completion regularly updating the Emacs management system
