The accommodation department at the Sheen Falls Lodge, is now recruiting for accommodation supervisor to join a team of enthusiastic people dedicated to delivering an exceptionally high standard of service to our guests. The accommodation supervisor will report to the accommodation manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in a supervisory role within an accommodation department.
  • Proven strong organizational and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid, clean EU driving license

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor standard of work within the Accommodation Department, ensuring the highest quality.
  • To oversee and check bedrooms, cottages, villas and public areas on a daily basis to ensure they are to the required AA 5 red star standard for our guests.
  • Lead and direct the team of accommodation assistants and organise the team duties on a daily basis.
  • To ensure all departmental checklists are completed and checked daily by supervisor before going off duty.
  • Be part of the training and coaching of all team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including, HS and HACCP regulations both internally and externally.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of rooms division and all public areas in the hotel including villas and cottages.
  • Liaise with the maintenance department to ensure that any issues are recorded, rectified in a timely manner.
  • To ensure that all departmental standards are being maintained in accordance with the SOP manual and grading criteria.
  • To ensure that the standard of personal hygiene and presentation is maintained at all times in the department.
  • Ensure all guest queries are handled promptly and efficiently
  • To use initiative in relation to the speedy resolution of guests queries or problems
  • To maintain good communication with the front office department as required.
  • Be aware of the security of the premises at all times both in terms of the access to the hotel and hotel property.
  • Be aware of fire safety, the evacuation system and safe handling of fire in case of emergency.
  • To follow the hotel policy on lost property at all times
  • To be able to deal with problems and complaints in the accommodation managers absence.
