We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account and Sales Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our clients. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring client satisfaction.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing strong relationships, and driving business growth. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to analyze market trends to effectively meet client needs.

Summary of essential job functions.

  • Generate new businesses and cultivate new client accounts by calling on builders, architects, interior designers and kitchen and bathroom designers.
  • Grow existing client accounts by providing excellent customer service.
  • Prepare, quote, and present countertop quotations and maintain liaison with Builders, architects, Designers, Kitchen and bath customers
  • Generate sales from customers’ specifications for both commercial and residential projects.
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed monthly sales target.
  • Develop relationships with current customers and potential customers within specific territory
  • Assist customers by providing knowledge and training company products to their store personnel, to ensure personnel is able to present product and negotiate well with consumers
  • Research and analyze customer needs and demands based on market information
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
  • Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market analysis for management review.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Sales Experience in the stone countertop or cabinetry OR tile industry is preferred.
  • Has sales and quotation experience in Interior Design for Construction Business in preferred
  • Project management or estimating experience in the stone or cabinetry industry is an asset.
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam etc.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
  • Monitor project progress to update cost estimates as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferre
