Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values
  • Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.
  • Supports Account Manager in daily tasks and projects, including client and carrier communication, renewing client benefits, assisting with open enrollment and performing audits.
  • Assists with calls and emails for questions concerning medical, dental, vision, life insurance and other benefits.
  • Involved with enrollment processes by entering enrollments in systems, helping Human Resource clients and employees, and submitting information to insurance carriers.
  • Assists with compliance by providing clients documents, requesting information from insurance carriers, and record keeping of up-to-date documents.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:

  • 6 months similar or related experience in office setting. Preference given to insurance and/or healthcare.
  • Experience with MS Office products PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel. Preferred experience Adobe InDesign
  • 2 year college degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be firm and persuasive, while maintaining good relationships
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Spanish language skills a plus
