Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values
- Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.
- Supports Account Manager in daily tasks and projects, including client and carrier communication, renewing client benefits, assisting with open enrollment and performing audits.
- Assists with calls and emails for questions concerning medical, dental, vision, life insurance and other benefits.
- Involved with enrollment processes by entering enrollments in systems, helping Human Resource clients and employees, and submitting information to insurance carriers.
- Assists with compliance by providing clients documents, requesting information from insurance carriers, and record keeping of up-to-date documents.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:
- 6 months similar or related experience in office setting. Preference given to insurance and/or healthcare.
- Experience with MS Office products PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel. Preferred experience Adobe InDesign
- 2 year college degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Detail oriented
- Oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be firm and persuasive, while maintaining good relationships
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Spanish language skills a plus
