Description:
We are looking for an Account Director, Health for our operation in Dubai, reporting directly to Director of practice. The Associate Director is a strategic communications leader responsible for advising, developing, and executing comprehensive communication plans for health sector’s clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, strong client management skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Postgraduate degree in communications, public relations, or related field.
- A degree in healthcare related field will also be considered.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in healthcare communications and PR and/or management consulting.
- Proven track record of successful client management and campaign execution.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic communication strategies & plans aligned with client business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Oversee the development of compelling messaging and key materials, including press releases, media pitches, and presentations.
- Manage and execute media relations campaigns, including proactive and reactive media handling.
- Be able to develop research and analytical frameworks to provide strategic insights to clients.
- Contribute to new business development and pitch processes.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices
