Description:
Join our team at Callis Insurance as an Account Executive in the Business Insurance Department, where exceptional service and professional growth go hand in hand. In this role, you will deliver extraordinary customer care, educate clients on their insurance needs, uncover growth opportunities, and generate valuable referrals. Duties and responsibilities of the Account Executive include but are not limited to the following:
- Answer phones
- Provide outstanding inbound service on claims, billing questions and endorsements
- Conduct annual reviews
- Sell new business for the agency from inbound referral sources
- Conduct audits on new business files
- Maintain a high level of professionalism including maintaining client confidentiality, and abiding by all privacy, fair credit, and disclosure laws on both the federal and state level.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, new opportunities, and adapt quickly to changes in the industry markets.
- Be a collaborator, be organized and have a willingness to learn, be self-sufficient in a fast- paced environment
- Bring a positive attitude and efficient work ethic.
Required Qualifications:
- Have a valid Washington State P&C Insurance License
- Have at least 2 years of experience as an Account Executive in the insurance industry
- High level of communication both verbal and written, and interpersonal and negotiating skills to effectively manage communication with clients, agency management team and fellow employees
- Proficient in communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack), project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello), file-sharing systems (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox), and other technologies relevant to the role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and high aptitude for all aspects of the internet.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Remote and Hybrid Work Opportunities.
