The Royal Caribbean Group’s Incentive Sales Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Account Executive - Charter Operations role reporting to the Lead Corp Incen&Charter Sls

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Account Executive of Global Charter Operations serves as the day-to-day contact for the charter client’s post-sale Oversee the implementation coordination and execution of various full ship charters and escort large corporate programs as necessary
This position serves as the liaison between the client internal teams and department heads onboard to ensure flawless execution of the program while providing exceptional customer service to help create more repeat business for the company

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Be able to travel extensively

  • Job requires approximately 50% travel
  • Previous charter operations/large scale event planning experience preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Highly effective communication skillsAbility to perform in a fast pace
  • diverse environment with focus on customer service
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with ship and shore side departments
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Shipboard operational experience preferred
  • Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills are crucial
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Proven management skills
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in meeting industry preferred

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaises with the Global Charter Sales team for proper hand-over for charter operations
  • Reviews compliance with Charter Operations SOP
  • Reviews contract details for executionEscorts charter sailing inspections
  • pre charter sailings and charter sailing as necessaryPlans and coordinates customized events special onboard programming and entertainment unique food & beverage requests production requirements excursions and custom itineraries and other items that may be consistent with the parameters of the client’s charter agreement


    • Help facilitate special requests/requirements by working with the appropriate department heads

    • Liaises internally to obtain approval for any deviation from the standard cruise experience and presents costs to clientMaintains a day-by-day grid of customized daily activities & events and works with the shipboard management team and the client to create customized programs
    • Manages VIP arrangements and special requests for the charter program and site inspections
    • Always be visible to the client at each functionCreates and distributes Operational Plans for each charter to the shipboard management team
    • shore side colleagues and the clientManages the post-sailing review process by compiling shipboard voyage reports onboard revenue reports rating and guest comment reports and any other pertinent documentation for charter reconciliation process
    • Responsible for the delivery of a complete Lessons Learned document to be discussed at a Post Sailing Review meeting and used as the basis for improved performance from program to programExecutes and escorts large groups as necessary

      FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Responsible for generating scheduled payment reminders

      • Pre / Post-Sailing Statements of Account and for ensuring that payments due are collected as per contracted termsParticipate in conversation with client and Shoreside/shipboard stakeholders as necessary

        • Ensures accuracy of Master Accounts onboard
