Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a talented, motivated Account Executive (Print) to join our Toronto team! This candidate will contribute to the efficiency and organization of the client services team to achieve team and client service initiatives. The Account Executive owns the Day-to-Day requests of their clients, preparing client proposals, organization of client documents, creation of specific client support documents and works closely with the Account Managers. Other key aspects of the position include internal and external communication, monitoring and troubleshooting issues within the programs/documents, understanding processes and workflow, organization/multi-tasking, maximization of technology to create efficiencies, and ensuring daily client tasks and deadlines are being met.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College or University degree in related field (Business Administration, Marketing or Communications)
  • 2-3 years in Media Buying/planning and/or client service with experience in Print
  • Out of Home experience is an asset
  • Interest in OOH and some Print Media is required
  • Be a proactive self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Have polished communication and listening skills as well as negotiating (internal/external)
  • Have strong organizational skills as applied through an ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work independently (with support) and successfully manage multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build strong internal relationships that lead to efficiently completing tasks, open communication, constructive criticism, collaboration, conflict resolution, and the overall success of the team and company
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence others; well-developed facilitation/presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternate solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals; demonstrated intellectual capabilities
  • Travel required as dictated by needs of the clients, referral partners, and scheduled conferences
  • Advanced PC skills to include all Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Print planning and buying for a key account
  • Maintain organization of internal document filing system
  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ensure accurate production of client service support documents
  • Meet internal timelines for finance responsibilities
  • Understand and execute tasks based on priority and deadlines
  • Take initiative with the collection of key resources needed for the creation of documents
  • Provide daily communication via phone, email and/or direct contact with Account Managers
  • Provide support in keeping business tracking documents updated and accurate
  • Investigate industry news and information to further enhance knowledge of the media industry
