KNOW HOW & EXPERIENCE

  • College Diploma, preferably in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program.
  • Bilingual French-English preferred.
  • 2+ years of working experience in sales preferred, however willing to train.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Above average computer skills with extensive knowledge in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities:

The Account Representative is responsible for maximizing the sale of lift trucks and other products within a defined geographical territory and/or an established number of accounts as defined by branch management. They will develop existing accounts and seek new business, and problem solve, consult, and assist existing and potential new customers. The incumbent will participate in a team selling approach including various other sales and service personnel with specialty roles. This position reports to the Sales Manager.

  • Make sales calls to qualify prospects and generate leads.
  • Sell assigned products to assigned accounts.
  • May work in a team approach and assist other sales positions with territory management and communication.
  • Gather information and/or track and follow-up with leads and inquiries.
  • Participate in training activities both locally, and in the field.
  • Work with various departments within the branch to understand their function and objectives with particular focus on activities related to the position for which they are training.
