What’s expected of you?
DeterTech is seeking a confident and enthusiastic commercial executive to join our growing sales team. The Lead Generator will be responsible for generating and confirming qualified leads to pass onto our sales teams and convert to appointments.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and a confident communicator, comfortable in a telesales role. They will support the sales teams by providing customer and market research and analysis and maintain excellent customer relationships. As well as representing the company and its solutions, the Lead Sales Generator will be able to deal with complaints effectively and appropriately to ensure we maintain customer satisfaction and learn from any mistakes.

Key Duties Include:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through outstanding customer service.
  • Tailored Quotations: Provide accurate and customised quotations to customers, ensuring they receive solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of our products, features and benefits.
  • Proactive Sales: Conduct proactive sales calls to both existing and potential customers.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction remains at an excellent level.
  • Product Awareness: Actively contribute to creating awareness of our full range of product offerings within the customer base.
  • Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers regularly to ensure their needs are being met and to identify new opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Confident, flexible, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities and an excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to think critically and resolve issues effectively.
