POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Service Sales Executive, you will drive business through the development of relationships of an assigned business portfolio of our existing client base, as well as development of sales leads through personal and company opportunities. Our service base customers cover a variety of industries and vertical markets, from educational institutes, museums, hospitals, government facilities and high rises. You will have ownership of the development of customer opportunities that match Climatec’s service offerings, proposal response, and maintaining customer relationships.

It is common to collaborate with other sales executives, project managers and service technicians in order to customize customer solutions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
  • 3+ years of experience in the integrated security systems industry. Knowledge of the construction industry and understanding of the construction process and owner-direct negotiated process are essential.
  • Successful experience selling traditional plan & spec bid and design-build projects to contractors and direct to owners. Strong initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong proposal development and writing skills.
  • Proven experience managing the development of complex project solutions, estimates, and proposals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with major access control, video, and security solutions, including Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Genetec, Aiphone, AXIS, and Hanwah.
  • Understanding of enterprise network architecture and the ability to discuss and recommend networked security system solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell integrated systems. Understanding of software integration via manufacturer software applications, APIs and custom software development.
  • Experience with network and telecom system applications, Emergency DAS, AV, and related low voltage systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling integrated security and related low voltage technology solutions to building owners, general contractors, electrical contractors, engineers, architects, and consultants.
  • Builds and manages long-term customer relationships with key building owners, general contractors, and architectural and engineering firms. Owns and facilitates customer relationships.
  • Prospects, qualifies, and closes new opportunities.
  • Demonstrates technical knowledge to create solutions that address the customer’s project challenges and favorably positions Climatec Security.
  • Influences design and construction decisions with owners, contractors, and consultants. Generates competitive, high-quality, and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost-benefit analyses. Skillfully writes, presents, and communicates bids and proposals. Negotiates and closes sales successfully.
  • Utilizes sales tools effectively. Manages the pipeline in Climatec tools, focusing on next steps, action items, and milestones in the sales process.
  • Leads the sales pursuit team, builds team relationships to ensure project success and customer satisfaction. Collaborates with product partners, subcontractors, engineers, project managers, and support colleagues.
  • Communicates the project vision, sales strategy, and plan to win. Engages engineers in customer meetings to review specific technologies and works closely on specifications throughout the solution development phase.
