QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 4-5 years of experience in sales/business development or account management, within financial services/fintech being a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Native or near-native proficiency in German and English (German proficiency is a must due to our focus on local investors)
  • Located in Berlin or willing to relocate, with a permit to work in Germany

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Executive to join our team and help us scale our impact-driven investment platform. As an AE, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing inbound leads, converting them into committed investors, and maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients. This is a key role in helping Carbon Equity grow our investor base while ensuring the highest level of service and engagement. THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator and relationship builder with experience managing leads from start to finish. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and nurturing inbound leads, guiding them through the sales process from first contact to commitment together with our Sales Development Reps
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with individual investors, assisting investors throughout their investment journey
  • Identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts and upselling additional services or investment opportunities
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to align on lead generation and conversion strategies
  • Maintaining detailed records in our CRM system (HubSpot), tracking client engagement, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Tracking key sales metrics, reporting on progress, and providing insights to optimize the sales process
  • Participating in account management, offering ongoing support and engagement to existing investors
